Mira Murati, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at OpenAI, is a woman who also played an important role in the development of the chatbot. She was born in Albania and rose through the ranks of OpenAI, from mechanical engineering to technical director.

Mira Murati has been with OpenAI for nearly five years, serving as CTO since last May. Mira Murati was a part of the tech scene in the Bay Area of California before she founded Chat GPT. She started as a Product Manager at Tesla ten years ago. For the next three years, she worked on the Tesla Model X's development, as evidenced by their LinkedIn profiles.

She first became acquainted with artificial intelligence (AI) in 2013. Tesla was developing early versions of its autopilot and AI-enabled robots for its factories at the time, according to "Fast Company.

Murati was the vice president of manufacturing and engineering for a maker of virtual reality (VR) hardware before he joined Tesla and OpenAI. Other than her mechanical engineering bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College, one of the eight prestigious Ivy League universities in the United States, she does not show any other schooling on LinkedIn.

Since she began working at OpenAI, Mira Murati has been in charge of the Chat GPT chatbot and the public release of Dall-E, a tool that turns text into beautiful visuals. The program uses the same language model AI GPT-3 as the chatbot. The importance of user feedback in preventing program abuse was stressed by Mira Murati in a television appearance on "The Daily Show" following the release of Dall-E 2. She described how OpenAI works to include filters against bigotry or violence while educating artificial intelligence.

"How can the use of AI be managed so that it is in line with our human values? " she inquired in an interview with Time magazine. According to Murati, the impact of these technologies on society is becoming so great that, in addition to supervisory authorities and governments, everyone is being asked to help shape this profound change.
